Photo journey 23rd July 2006

on the 23rd July, a group of us went on a photo excursion cum competition. I've posted several photos of mine which speaks out to me most from the lot.

a few photos taken in Tampines...

followed by photos taken at East Coast Park..

and lastly, not forgetting this (cute?)turkish chef who kindly invited yf n I to join him for breakfast in his little cozy cafe. Though we did not manage to win any prizes that day, at least we made a new friend. =)

its the 28th day of the month of July still at the beginning of this new century.
lethargic from a whole hectic day, trying to print notes in school. time-consuming and not very well-spent. and i'm not the only 20 year old doing it too. the library was filled with so many other students all absorbed in the same menial, dreary task. To me, it seems sad that so many people around my age, at the prime of one's life with energy bursting forth, are put to such "forced labour" which profits little. How much more worthwhile if the time and energy are put to better use?
Its ironic that despite the fact we're taught to conserve electrical energy since young, we are now wasting more energy away.
I feel at 20, if nothing much useful and beneficial is happening in one's life, it can be considered as wasted. Looking at my own life, i feel a sense of woe with each second slipping by, unable to grasp it tightly.
